2 Guys wish Lindsey Vonn a speedy recovery!

Things just continue to look worse for Richie Incognito… this just seems like a story/issue that isn’t going to go away.  BullyGate is going to be the new BountyGate.

Great preview of what we’re dubbing The 2 Guys Bowl – Panthers vs. Dolphins

Meet the Dolphins New RB

With Reggie Bush off to Detroit, many people question the running back situation in Miami.  However, I think it's clearly because people just don't understand who Lamar Miller is.

Miller is a second year back out of Miami who I had a first round grade on going into the draft last year.  Presumably due to durability concerns, Miller slid all the way to the top of the fourth round, where the Dolphins traded up to snag the local product.

Miller proceeded to have a modest 250 yards in his rookie season.  He did it on 4.9 yards per carry however and should be in store for a big increase in workload in 2013.

Miller is an excellent cutter with the vision to find the whole and hit it hard.  He's got enough bulk to pound in between the tackles, but his real talent is in his breakaway speed.  Don't be surprised to see Miller running down the sideline often this season, chased by defensive backs looking incredulously at this 5'10, 215 pound speedster.

Miller was a track star in college as well as a football standout, and finished his collegiate football career with only 1,800 yards and change with 15 touchdowns, but he had nearly 1,300 and 9 in 2011 alone.

While the Dolphins may be going young with Miller, third year disappointment Daniel Thomas, and rookie scat back Mike Gillislee, the Dolphins are definitely not taking a step back in their running game.  Reggie Bush will be missed, but Miller is a more decisive runner and a more complete back.  If he gets the 220+ carries that Bush got last year, the team should improve in the running game and fantasy owners and pundits alike will be calling the Miami running game a strength this time next year instead of questioning the position.
